We prepare every case as if it is going to trial: examining the evidence, testing the State’s theory, and protecting your rights at each step. That preparation is what creates leverage, whether a case ends in a motion, a negotiation, or a verdict.
Clear, flat fees where possible
For many matters we offer a flat fee agreed in advance, so you understand the cost of your defense up front. Where a case can’t be quoted that way, we explain why and how billing will work before you commit.
Private, secure communication
Your case stays confidential. We use an encrypted client portal (Clio) for documents and messages, and can communicate through an encrypted app such as Signal on request.

Federal charges statewide, in the U.S. District Courts for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri. State felony defense centered in Boone, Callaway, and Cole Counties, and available in other Missouri counties as well.

Constitutional Rights
Defending First and Second Amendment freedoms and the fundamental rights of the people: free speech, religious liberty, the right to bear arms, and protection from unreasonable searches and cruel treatment.
Appeals & Post-Conviction
Statewide direct appeals and post-conviction motions (including Rule 29.15 and 24.035) before the Missouri Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Missouri, focused on the record and the law.

Our federal defense, appellate, and civil rights work is statewide; our state criminal defense is centered in Boone, Callaway, and Cole Counties, and we handle cases in other Missouri counties as well.
